Talk Title: “Complete identification of how viral mutations affect antibodies used to prevent RSV”
Abstract: A challenge in combating viruses is that they can evolve to erode the effectiveness of countermeasures. I will discuss how a better understanding of the biophysical principles of antibody neutralization and the effects of viral mutations can inform analyses of the impact of respiratory syncytial virus evolution on antibodies used to protect infants against this virus.
