Dr. Mary Teruel receives the inaugural Diabetes Knowledge Advancement (DKA) Award
Please join us in congratulating CSB faculty and senior author Dr. Mary Teruel on receiving the inaugural Diabetes Knowledge Advancement (DKA) Award from the Stanford Diabetes Research Center for her recent publication in Cell Metabolism entitled “A Transcription Circuit Filters Oscillating Circadian Hormonal Inputs to Regulate Fat Cell Differentiation.” This award is given to the most impactful, original diabetes-related research publication from Stanford (2017-2018). CSB graduate student and co-lead author Zahra Bahrami-Nejad accepted the award at the Stanford Diabetes Research Center Symposium held on May 2nd at the Stanford Arrillaga Alumni Center.
